Søllerød GC appoints SVV to create Masterplan

The course is situated in a beautiful nature park close to Copenhagen. The land is undulated which offers some great views, but also some problems in terms of blind shots and awkward walks.

"With this masterplan, we hope to help Søllerød GC optimise the use of the land, so that blind shots can be avoided where possible. Blind shots often create a lot of safety issues, slows down play and creates an overall reduced golfing experience. With our plan we hope to reduce the blind shots on the course by as much as 80%" says Philip Spogard, who is leading the project on behalf of SVV.

Due to the natural qualities of the park, SVV are working closely with the the Danish Society for Nature Conservation to create a masterplan which satisfies all parties. "We are delighted to be in a position where we can help people with different interests, make the most of one particular piece of land. If we do our job well, it will be a true win-win situation for all", ends Philip Spogárd.
