New holes at Langesø GC opens for play

For the past 3 years we have been working on adding 9 more holes to the already existing 9 holes at Langesø GC in Denmark. The course meanders through old forests, open meadowland and around lakes. It is part of the Langesø Castle estate, which has been located here for more than 300 years.

"Langesø is a truly special place. There are not many places like it. The scene set by the castle and the wonderfully rolling lands, forests and surrounds, creates one of the best settings for a golf course which we have seen. To be able to help the owner fulfil the long term wish of an 18 hole golf course here has been a dream project" says Philip Spogárd before continuing, "it is not often - in fact I think it is a first for me - that I can't pick my favourite hole among the 9 new we added - they all have their own unique qualities and stories, which are waiting to be told. There are short holes and long holes. Holes which demands accuracy and some where you can let go a bit. Some play to slightly elevated green and some to greens sitting below. It iis really a strong group of holes and I have no doubt the course will start climbing the national rankings soon."
