Hilversumsche GC continues work with SVV

One of history's most iconic golf course architects, Harry Colt, originally designed Hilversumsche GC back in the 1920s. Even though time has past since then, the course has managed to stand the test of time and has hosted the Dutch Open on the European Tour numerous times. The course meanders through pine and heathland and offers a wealth of both beauty and strategy. We have helped the club make modifications to the the 3rd and 11th holes and look to help them with further adjustments in the future.

"It is an honor and a privilege to work with a club, a course and a piece of land such as this one. We are respectfully trying to imagine how Mr. Colt himself would deal with adjusting the course if he was still here", says Michiel van der Vaart who has been leading the work on behalf of SVV.
