County Louth GC appoints SVV to create masterplan

Historic County Louth Golf Club in Baltray, Ireland, originally designed by legendary golf course architect Tom Simpson, has hired Spogárd & Vandervaart to create a long term Development Masterplan for the 18 hole golf course. Furthermore SVV has been commissioned to add an extensive chipping and pitching area to the practise facilities as well as help with suggestions to optimise the entry road leading to the clubhouse.

Carya GC named European Tour Course 2016-2018

The European Tour and Carya Golf Club in Belek, Turkey has announced that it will host the Turkish Airlines Open from 2016-2018. The Turkish Airlines Open draws in a strong field and was this year won by Victor Dubuisson ahead of prominent names such as Rory McIlroy.

The course opened to great reviews in 2008 and Golf World magazine ranked it among the top 100 golf courses in Continental Europe (#93) as soon as 2009. The course has now moved upwards and occupies the 64th spot.
