Golfclub Anderstein

Golfclub Anderstein was founded on June 21, 1986. Since its foundation, the golf course has been located on the Anderstein estate, owned by the van Beuningen family. The 27 Holes golf course is located on 100 acres. SpogardvanderVaart Golf Architects have been involved in all developments from the start. The track is located on the transition between the Utrecht Hill Ridge and the Gelderse Valley. The course is a 'Heathland-style course' and is characterized by its alternation between open heath covered areas and forest holes. The undulating fairways and strategically placed, rugged edged bunkers defend the greens well. Anderstein is a timeless, mature course where the golf course architects Gerard Jol and Michiel van der Vaart have clearly left their recognizable signature.
