Hilversumsche Golf Club

The Hilversumsche Golfclub is located in the middle of the typical forest and heath area of Het Gooi. The first nine holes were designed by H. Burrows in 1917. So the oldest parts of the course are over 100 years old. The second part was designed by the well-known track architect Harry S. Colt and built in 1927. In terms of landscape integration and further design features, the entire appearance is that of a typical 'classic Colt track'. Kyle Phillips renovated the track in 2008. In 2012, the 'Dutch Open' took place here for the 27th time. Sopgard&Vandervaart has been involved with the Hilversumsche Golf Club since 2013. In addition to all the new practice facilities, we have also been able to improve holes 3, 10, 11, 12 and 9. Together with the club, we continuously work on optimizing the game experience and aesthetics. Michiel van der Vaart favourite hole is the 10th.
