‘De Stippelberg’ is one of the most exciting golf courses to open in the World in recent years. In 2011 it was awarded the prestigious 'Golf Inc. Development of the Year Award' in front of a group of highly profiled international projects. The golf course plays along a unique 1 km quarry lake. The shaping of the land has restored the once existing ‘Stippelberg’ heathland, which used to cover the site before it was flattened for farming. Bold and natural shapes create a fun and challenging experience for golfers of all skill levels. Especially the bunkers – inspired by the classic bunkers found on many UK heathland courses – have attracted a lot of attention. The complex features an 18 hole Championship course, a 9 hole executive course as well as an Aqua Range and extensive practice facilities. The executive course opened for play in 2010 and the Championship course in 2011.
